Digi Legends -> Digimon Frontier
Digimon Frontier Plot (2002)
Human
and beast type Digimon once waged war against each other.
Their battle laid waste to the Digital World, befouling what was once beautiful. Lucemon appeared however and brought an end to the fight. For some time he ruled in peace for the good of the Digital World, but was soon corrupted by his own power.
The ten legendary warriors rose up to Lucemon, and after a fierce and valiant battle, they defeated him. After peace was restored to the Digital World, the spirits of the legendary warriors were put to sleep, and three Celestial Digimon were chosen to protect that peace. Shortly afterwards however, Cherubimon became angry towards Serpahimon and Ofanimon.
He believed their interests only revolved around the human-type Digimon, and the beast-type Digimon were treated unfairly. Evil contaminated Cherubimon, and he then revolted against Seraphimon and Ofanimon. He spread evil throughout the Digital World and started to control it.
Desperate for a way to save their world, Ofanimon sent messages throughout various worlds, including the human world. Several children received messages on their cellphones, telling them that their future had been decided, and whether they wanted to follow through with it or not. Five children, Takuya Kanbara, Izumi Orimoto, Junpei Shibayama, Tomoki Himi and Kouji Minamoto say YES to the message.
They eventually arrive at the Digital World, where the spirits of the legendary Digimon warriors await to be discovered by the children...
