Petaldramon is the beast spirit derived from the legendary warrior of wood, AncientTrojamon. He is more aggressive and tends to eat a lot more due to his larger size and nature. Petaldramon relies on the use of leaves and tree attacks. He can fire leaves from his nose, creating a sharp and damaging effect due to the force of the leaves.

Appearance

Petaldramon vaguely resembles a lizard, with tree and leaf-like characteristics.

Head: He has a maroon head, with a leaf-like mane. He has white eyes, with a beige nose.

Body: His body is dark green, and his tail splits off into two flexible tree-like branches. His tail is maroon coloured. On his back are several spikes of wood.

Hands: His fingers and thumbs on each hand are dark brown with the rest of his arm.

Legs: He has four legs, with three leaf-like claws on each one.

History

Petaldramon made his first appearance in Episode #14 - No Whamon. He assisted Grottomon in tracking down the Digidestined after the ambush on Seraphimon's castle. Later on, Petaldramon attacked Datamon after he refused to give the D-Tectors which were given to him by the Toucanmon. He gave them to Tomoki instead. Petaldramon was able to make a wreck of Datamon's shop, and was close to having Blizzarmon defeated by trapping him in several tree roots. However KoriKakumon was freed by Agnimon and Wolfmon, and he was able to push Petaldramon far far away.

He then took the Papa Burgermon hostage in the Burgermon Village, to make appetizing burgers for his appetite. However his comrades, the Chameleonmon were defeated by the Digidestined and he was then buried underground by the Digidestined after the Papa Burgermon was rescued.

Shortly after, Petaldramon ambushed the Digidestined again in a dark forest towards the Dark Continent. Petaldramon became gigantic and more powerful as he ate several trees in the forest. The Digidestined's attacks had little effect on him due to his increased size. He would simply heal himself after each injury. However a weak spot was found in Petaldramon and he was finished off by Garmmon.
