Mercuremon is the human spirit derived from the legendary warrior of steel, AncientWisemon. He talks in an intelligent matter and makes use of old English in his quotes. He also tends to calculate his foes' attacks and moves, and relies on the use of his mirrors to ambush through illusion and surprise his enemies with camouflage and reflection.

Appearance

Mercuremon resembles well, several mirrors.

Head: He has a triangular appearance from his head down to his shoulders. The top of his head is coloured red, with yellow patterns beneath. He has one eye mirror, with a moving mouth.

Body: His chest has another mirror, and his overall appearance is green. He has a smaller breast armour just above the mirror which a a darker green.

Hands: He has dark green hands and mirrors mounted on each arm.

Legs: He has a pair of green and light green shoes. His legs are cone shaped below his knee with red and yellow patterns and ridges.

History

Mercuremon made his first appearance in Episode #13 - Better an Egg than an Eggshell. Him along along with Grottomon, Arbormon and Ranamon ambushed Seraphimon's castle. Whilst at the castle Mercuremon was able to defeat Seraphimon by reflecting his powerful attack. He then took Seraphimon's data for himself. Cherubimon later found out about his own little plan, but he did not take any action against Mercuremon.

He fought against Agnimon whilst inside his own beast spirit, Sefirotmon. He easily dealt massive damage towards him. He then used the data he took from Seraphimon to create BlackSeraphimon. Despite Vritramon's attacks he failed to even put a dent in BlackSeraphimon. He then used a dark version of Seraphimon's attack entitled Strike of the Seven Dark Stars. This instantly injured Vritramon severely and reverted him to Takuya quickly.

Mercuremon soon met his demise as Ardhamon tracked him down after ShadowSeraphimon's defeat. Ardhamon broke his mirrors and rendered him useless soon after.

Mercuremon uses the mirror on his arm to absorb an enemy's attack and reflect it back.
