Lowemon is the human spirit derived from the legendary warrior of darkness, AncientSphinxmon. His elemental attack is very powerful as compared with his brother of lightness, Wolfmon. As light cannot live without darkness and vice versa, the two make a good team.

Appearance

Lowemon resembles a dark humanoid lion. Pretty much the opposite of Lobomon, where he is a light humanoid wolf.

Hair: He has blonde hair. Head: He wears a dark grey mask.

Body: On his chest is a head which opens when he uses his 'Shadow Meteor' attack. He has shoulder pads which have been shaped into a lion's head with yellow ridges. Inside the mouth is a red gem.

Hands: He has a light armour plate around his arms which stop at his elbow. It has yellow patterns resembling a lion's pattern.

Legs: His legs have yellow ridges below his knees. His feet have three yellow claws and a yellow strap around his foot with several yellow patterns. He has knee pads which resemble a lion's head on both legs.

History

Lowemon made his first appearance in Episode #33 - Ne'er The Twins Shall Meet. When Cherubimon asked Kouichi to reclaim the spirits of darkness, he declined. “I don't want revenge anymore. I'm done hiding in the dark. I'd rather die than betray my brother!” The situation looked hopeless, but at that very moment Kouji's D-Tector shined light towards Koichi, which changed his spirits from evil to good. It awoke the true power of darkness within the spirits. He learned that darkness doesn't have to be evil, it can be good as well.

When Kouichi digivolved into Lowemon his strength was able to hold back Cherubimon with his attacks. The night darkness amplified his elemental attacks. However it turned out the assailant was a decoy Cherubimon, with the real one being located at the Rose Morning Star.
