Izumi is a girl who isn't afraid to express her anger towards anyone, whether they're human or Digimon. She had lived in Italy for two years before living in Japan, which is why you sometimes hear her speak some Italian throughout the season.

Appearance

Izumi's clothes have a lavender colour theme, just like her evolutions.

Accessories: A lavender hat, with a dark slate blue strip on the bottom.

Head: Blonde hair and green eyes.

Body: Blue and white striped short sleeve shirt and a sleeve-less lavender jacket, as well as a lavender skirt.

Hands: Nothing are worn on her hands.

Legs: Dark slate blue socks.

Shoes: White and light lavender coloured strap-on shoes.

History

She didn't have many friends at first, perhaps because she didn't treat them very nicely which gave her the impression that she was a very unpleasant person to hang around with. The others don't really mind her mean attitude, with the exception of Junpei, who has suffered the most from her anger.

During her battle against Ranamon inside Sefirotmon, flashbacks of her past from the human world came back to her mind. These flashbacks show an experience during her camp with some school friends. Her friends rejected her. However, after defeating Ranamon, she was able to overcome her fears. She vowed to be nicer to her friends, including the other Digidestined.

Izumi is like a big sister to Tomoki, and therefore takes good care of him. This is evident from her concern for Tomoki throughout the season. She prefers to be herself, and would rather not copy what everyone else does, just to make friends. She is the only female Digidestined in the group.

Memorable Moments

Izumi's Strangling

Izumi was able to digivolve into Fairymon for the first time whilst at the Floramon village. When Takuya and Tomoki arrived at the village later, they don't believe her claims. Izumi retaliates by strangling them both.

Izumi's Gratitude

Izumi is grateful when the Digidestined help her out with uniting the Gomamon across the sea. She starts off with hugging Takuya and Kouji but Tomoki and Junpei become jealous! They then get hugged too, so all ends well!

In Ofanimon's Castle

When Takuya and Izumi were looking in the library of Ofanimon's Castle for the key, Takuya says that he likes Izumi. He unintentionally says it in a way that symbolises the typical crush meaning. This causes Izumi to blush a bit.
