Bolgmon is the beast spirit derived from the legendary warrior of thunder, AncientBeetmon. He is comparatively larger, more tougher and has a better arsenal than Blitzmon. Bolgmon's special attacks mainly rely on the use of electricity and the use of the large cannon mounted on his head.

Appearance

Bolgmon resembles a military vehicle. Perhaps a battle tank with cannons? Many possibilities exist for this tank.

Head: A large cannon is mounted on top of his head.

Body: He has navy blue armour, with yellow being the secondary colour and orange being his limbs beneath. He has black spiky like shoulder pads.

Hands: Orange arms, with metal armour around his arms up to his elbow. He has a cannon with three barrels on both hands as well as a black bracing at the back of it.

Legs: Bolgmon doesn't have legs, he relies on the use of wheels or tracks (like a tank) for movement.

History

Bolgmon made his first appearance in Episode #14 - No Whamon. Having escaped from an ambush from Grottomon, Arbormon and Ranamon back in Seraphimon's castle, the Digidestined found themselves in a large open cave. They stumbled upon a Whamon. Arbormon and Grottomon discovered the Digidestined and once again they set off to fight them. During the battle, Whamon coughed the beast spirit of thunder. It appeared that he ate it sometime ago.

When Junpei digivolved into Bolgmon, he too had trouble controlling his beast spirit. He didn't hurt any of the other Digidestined but his attacks were off target. However, he was able to get one attack to connect with Grottomon, which defeated him. Junpei was able to retrieve Izumi's spirit of wind, and for that she was forever grateful towards him.

Special Attacks

Ultimate Thunder ( アルティメットサンダー )
(Dub name: Bolo Thunder)

Bolgmon charges up a thunder attack, and is released towards the enemy. The electricity spins towards Bolgmon's enemy.

Field Destroyer ( フィールドデストロイヤー )
(Dub name: Electron Cannon)

Bolgmon kneels down by placing his arms on the ground. His back then reveals a targeting screen. His cannon then charges up and he then fires it towards the enemy, creating a devastating attack.
